Dannemora iron ore mine dry earlier than expected

(Thomson Reuters ONE) - DANNEMORA IRON ORE MINE DRY EARLIER THAN EXPECTEDDraining of the Dannemora iron ore mine is now completed, which represents amajor step towards making the mine operational again. After eleven months ofpreparations, the draining process began in May 2009. The water level is nowdown to the planned 470-metre level, which means the project has finished justover a month earlier than originally planned.
