UFileFREE Brings Free Tax Returns to More Canadians

Dr Tax Software, the makers of and UFile for Windows, is pleased to announce the introduction of UFileFREE to their robust platform of tax offerings. The program, instated in February 2012, will enable more free income tax returns to be completed by Canadians than any other tax software products on the market.

UFile ONLINE is always free for dependants, regardless of income, and for individuals and families with an annual income of $20,000 or less. UFileFREE also provides free income tax returns to the following qualifiers:
First Time Filers
Canadians who are filing their first Federal tax return can prepare it at no cost using UFile ONLINE. This offer is extended to new income earners and new immigrants to Canada.
Simple Returns
With UFile ONLINE, Canadians can prepare a simple tax return and file free of charge, regardless of income level. A simple return includes the following:
Students
Post secondary students who use UFile ONLINE are always FREE, regardless of age or income level, as a result of the company's partnership with the . To qualify, the student must be a resident of Canada, have tuition fees and have attended school for at least one month during the tax year for which they are filing a return.
For those who do not qualify for UFileFREE, UFile continues to be available for one low price. And unlike other tax software, UFile does not increase its price for more complex returns. , Dr Tax's desktop product, is valued at $29.99. This includes up to eight returns per box and the software can prepare all types of tax returns, no matter how complex. UFile for Windows is available at and for only $19.99 for eight returns, or $29.99 for 16 returns.
