PEO Network Launches Census 2012 Project

(firmenpresse) - RALEIGH, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 03/16/12 -- PEO Network has launched its 5th Census initiative for Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs).

PEO Network conducts the PEO Census project every 3 years, which provides critical data and benchmarks for the industry. PEOs are a sector of the Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) industry serving small to mid-sized companies. The first Census project in 2000 helped dispel the myth regarding the existence of 2,500 to 4,500 PEOs whereas the actual number was 917.

"The PEO industry is on track with predictions made in 2009 to increase market share," said , president of PEO Network, "despite the economic downturn."

After the project is completed, PEO Network will compile data and determine trends based on a 12-year look back. Carrie Aaron, President of PEO Network will analyze the results of this year's census. In her capacity at PEO Network, Aaron provides consulting in the areas of sales, operations, start-up and M&A due diligence and possesses 30 years of PEO industry experience.

Aaron co-authored an article in the October 2007 Issue of PEO Insider magazine, : Predictions for the Upcoming Tipping Point."
