Corporate Rebranding, Category Expansion and Relationship Building Headline Marketplace 2012

Marketplace 2012 hosted hundreds of the company's customers at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence March 16-17. At the show, customers participated in face-to-face meetings with Emery-Waterhouse representatives and manufacturers, received business updates and learned about the company's recent rebranding initiative.
During Emery-Waterhouse's annual customer trade show, President Steve Frawley focused his attention on the company's recent rebranding, which was unveiled at the event. The company introduced a new tagline and positioning statement, both designed to underscore the company's customer-centric growth strategy and capabilities. The new tagline, "Driven by your success," replaces "On the level. Every day" to reflect the company's focus on delivering results designed to help its customers grow.
"Once again, our Marketplace trade show proved to be a powerful venue for strengthening our customer relationships and further opening the lines of communication," said Frawley. Despite the volatility of the housing market, Emery-Waterhouse continues to enjoy double-digit growth, due in part to expanding its presence in the paint and sundries category to include inner-city markets and dedicated paint stores.
