International Creative Director Joins Rock Candy Media
(firmenpresse) - AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/12 -- Rock Candy Media, an Austin-based design and marketing firm that produces all creative in-house, recently hired internationally-experienced Julien Libersat to head its creative team. "Julien brings a wealth of varied and top-notch design experience to Rock Candy Media, just as we're growing exponentially," said Annie Liao Jones, RCM CEO. "We're excited to have him join us as Creative Director, and look forward to having him continue providing the level of work we're known for, while at the same time helping to expand our portfolio."
Libersat, an Austin native, started his design career in the Austin area where he collaborated on graphics for large companies such as USAA and Whole Foods. He relocated to Paris, France, and his first European position was with a Norwegian and French retail firm where he led a small design team. He then moved on to Estee Lauder Europe, where he designed print ads and 3D product modeling. His last European position before returning to Austin was at a branding and web design boutique on the outskirts of Paris.
His recent move back to Austin created an opportunity for him and for Rock Candy Media. "I was attracted to RCM because of the dynamic and diverse nature of their client base and the creative working environment," he said, "My six years of design experience both in France and the U.S. taught me how to adapt my work to the needs of clients, whether they are a small startup or a large multi-national company. As a new member of RCM I hope to produce great work, bring in new clients and expand our business."
Libersat joins an in-house staff of two designers, a copywriter, a social media manager and a developer. Since the start of 2012, RCM has added new clients Baldirama Restaurant Group, Tandem Logistics, ArthroCare, Bennett Flaherty, Journyx, SugarPaper Press and SchoolAdmin.
