Honolulu Mobile Boat Repair Division of RAK Marine gets Welcome Response
RAK Marine International, Inc. (“RAK” or the “Company”) (Frankfurt: 6RK) today announces that its mobile repair service has sparked customer interest at its Honolulu, Hawaii location. RAK’s mobile service has allowed the Company to cater to locations that have, until now, had a difficult time accessing repair facilities, which has received a welcome response from customers. Selection of a larger repair facility depends upon the magnitude and type of work, the preference of the ship or boat owners and the proximity of the repair facility to the ship or boat. The positive outlook for the ship repair industry can be attributed to the aging fleet of operational ships and the decision by ship owners to extend their useful life. Periodic and emergency maintenance and repair work are essential to keep vessels operable and RAK is able to meet such maintenance needs through its mobile repair service. RAK plans to replicate this mobile model of business on other Hawaiian islands and in other locations internationally.
