Magnus Uggla - new head of Handelsbanken International

Magnus Uggla was today appointed new head of Handelsbanken International. He is
an executive vice president of Handelsbanken and a member of the Bank's senior
management team.
Magnus Uggla comes from the position as head of Handelsbanken's regional bank in
southern Great Britain.He succeeds Per Beckman who has been serving as acting
head. Per Beckman retains his ordinary position as head of Handelsbanken Capital
Markets.
Handelsbanken International is responsible for Handelsbanken's branch operations
outside the Bank's domestic markets with operations in a total of 17
countries.It is also responsible for trade-related finance and financial
institutions.
Magnus Uggla takes up his new position on 1 March.
