PDO, or Valdepenas Protected Designation of Origin is the organization that guarantees the uncompromising quality through strict monitoring of every step of wine production, maintaining the levels of popularity that have long been enjoyed by Valdepenas wines throughout their long and illustrious history. And now, the wines that have been enjoyed from kings to kinsmen for centuries can be part of the contemporary food and wine lifestyle of discerning Canadian food and wine lovers.

PDO Valdepenas launched its Canadian campaign with the exclusive tasting for trade and media at Le Newtown Terrasse in Montreal, which put a spotlight on some representative Valdepenas wines.
The wine tasting included five samples from Valdepenas, which were described by Montreal event host, Sommelier Helene Dion.
Ms. Dion said, "The time for Valdepenas wines in Quebec is really ripe, with a growing desire for new wine experiences and the increasingly sophisticated palate of wine drinkers."
