Oriola-KD Corporation completes its Swedish pharmacy chain acquisition

Oriola-KD Corporation Stock Exchange Release 19 February 2010 at 12.30 a.m.

Kronans Droghandel Retail AB, a company jointly owned by Oriola-KD Corporation
(80 per cent ownership) and Kooperativa Förbundet (20 per cent ownership) has
completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares of Pharmacy Company
Sweden 2 AB, a nation wide pharmacy cluster with 171 pharmacies, net sales of
some EUR 430 million and 930 employees.

The conditions precedent for closing have been fulfilled and Kronans Droghandel
Retail AB has received approval by the Swedish Competition Authority
(Konkurrensverket) and been granted pharmacy licences by the Swedish Medical
Products Agency (Läkemedelsverket). The final purchase price of the acquisition
is EUR 161.0 million (SEK 1.59 billion) in cash.

The acquired company will be consolidated into Oriola-KD's financials as of 19
February 2010. Oriola-KD will publish Proforma 2009 figures and provisional
details on the net assets and purchase price allocation for the pharmacy cluster
acquisition in its January-March 2010 interim report.
