ObjectVideo Announces Limited Time Global, Portfolio-Wide IP Amnesty Program
(firmenpresse) - RESTON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/22/12 -- ®, the Leader in Intelligent Video, today announced the launch of an IP amnesty program, which is intended to give qualified video analytic providers a 60-day window to enter into a global, portfolio-wide patent licensing agreement with OV. Participation in the program entails a one-time fee and a pay-as-you-go patent licensing agreement. ObjectVideo will waive past damages for amnesty program participants.
Sony and Tyco recently entered into global portfolio wide patent licenses with ObjectVideo. "With over 45 domestic and international patents awarded and more than 40 pending, this is an opportunity for industry partners to license our patent portfolio without the risk and cost of litigation," said Raul Fernandez, chairman and CEO of ObjectVideo.
