According to information received by Huhtamäki Oyj, the share of the company's
shares and votes held by OP-Pohjola Group Central Cooperative (Business Identity
Code 0242522-1), entities controlled by it as well as its subsidiaries and
investment funds administered by such subsidiaries has on February 22, 2010
exceeded 1/20 (5 %) being 5.007 %. The total number of Huhtamäki Oyj's shares
announced to be owned on February 22, 2010 by the aforementioned shareholders is
5,310,834 shares.
