Created with Apple's iBooks Author, For Your Sake: Inside the Making of Shinedown's Amaryllis is an interactive book experience that tells the official story of Shinedown's new album with never-before-seen photos, videos and much more. Written by rock journalist Jonah Bayer and produced by Atlantic Records, For Your Sake features four sections of exclusive content, including an exploration of the creative and recording process that led to "Amaryllis," a revealing look at the band's interpersonal and artistic dynamic, a track-by-track dissection of the album from frontman Brent Smith (including high-quality video commentary), and a fully immersive breakdown of the album's complex and evocative artwork by Atlantic Records Creative Director David Harrigan. Designed especially for iPad, For Your Sake offers fans a one-of-a-kind experience that both enhances and magnifies Shinedown's already remarkable new album.

"AMARYLLIS" is quickly shaping up as one of 2012's major rock events. "Bully," the album's striking first single, has already reached #1 at Rock radio, marking Shinedown's 7th consecutive chart-topper at the format. In addition, the track is currently ascending the top 20 at Alternative outlets nationwide. The official "Bully" companion video -- directed by Darren Doane, who previously collaborated with Shinedown on the videos for such blockbuster hits as "Devour" and "Sound of Madness" -- has received early adds at mtvU and Fuse's No. 1 Countdown. "AMARYLLIS" sees Shinedown joining forces once more with multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), who previously collaborated with the band on the record-breaking "THE SOUND OF MADNESS." Recorded at Cavallo's Lightning Sound studios outside of Los Angeles and a pair of Hollywood landmarks, Ocean Way Recording and Capitol Studios, the album was recently named among "This Year's Best Bets" by Billboard, which noted the inventive addition of synths, a 27-piece orchestra, and a 10-piece horn section to the band's powerful hard rock.

Released in June 2008, "THE SOUND OF MADNESS" proved Shinedown's mainstream breakthrough, debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200 before spending 120 consecutive weeks on the chart.
