Michael Lin Brings 15 Years of Financial Experience to GT

An expert in the implementation of financial systems, SaaS business models and mergers and acquisitions, Lin will be instrumental in guiding GT through periods of rapid growth.

Lin brings extensive experience in the technology sector, having served as an executive and advisor at software, search, big data and on-line advertising companies. His experience spans both large publicly-traded and high growth start-up companies and he is adept at advising on a broad range of corporate functions, including finance, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, planning and analysis, audit, budgeting and financial controls, as well as tax and patent issues.
Most recently, Lin served as CFO at BlueCava, Inc., a provider of device identification technology. At BlueCava, Lin was a key participant in the development of the company's business plan, go-to-market strategy and capital raising activities. Previously, he was CFO at Uniloc USA, Inc., a pioneer in software activation. In that role, Lin led efforts that helped drive the company to profitability.
Lin also served as VP of Finance and Strategic Planning for Fast Search and Transfer, where he was instrumental in growing the company from $30 million in revenue to $200 million and 100 employees to 850 over a six-year period. He later worked to complete the sale of the company to Microsoft for $1.2 billion.
Lin has a BBA from Hofstra University and an MBA from Babson College.
