Ekornes: Q1-2012, Final Acconts 2011 and Ordinary General Meeting

In meeting 27 March the Board of Ekornes ASA has approved the final Year end
Accounts 2011.  There are no changes compared to the preliminary accounts.

The Ordinary General Meeting 10 May will be held at the company's showroom in
Ålesund (Ekornes Bua).

Ekornes finds reason to repeat information given in the Q4 Report (Preliminary
Accounts) regarding production capacity and information given in the same report
regarding expected production volume in Q1-2012 and the need for using some part
of this capacity to normalise the inventory level of Stressless(®) in the USA.
This seems not to be taken enough into consideration in some analysis become
known to the company.

Ekornes expects a turnover in Q1-2012 of approx NOK 675 mill., depending on
final exchange rates. Production of Stressless(®) during the quarter has been
approx 1 700 seat units per day. Approx 7% of this capacity has been used for
building up the inventory level in the USA. Order influx during the quarter has
been approx. at the same level as Q1- 2011.
