Grizzly Gold Announces Completion of First Phase of Soil Sampling on LB Vixen
(firmenpresse) - CARSON CITY, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 03/29/12 -- Grizzly Gold Corp. (OTCQB: GRZG) (PINKSHEETS: GRZG) is pleased to announce the completion of the first phase of soil sampling on the LB Vixen property located in Humboldt County, Nevada. The LB Vixen property consists of 61 unpatented lode-mining claims.
Phase 1 of a soil sample collection project on the LB Vixen property was completed in March of 2012. A total of 205 soil samples were collected, covering approximately 580 acres in the central and southern portion of the property. The samples have been submitted to the lab for analysis and results are expected in the coming weeks.
"The analytical results will most likely lead to a Phase 2 soil sampling program," said Grizzly President Paul Strobel. "Phase 2 will help focus on, and expand from Phase 1 anomalous areas in the claim block."
The completion of the soil sampling program on the LB Vixen may lead to one or more geophysical surveys to identify fault structures on the property. The objective is to target future drilling sites on the property in hopes of delineating gold mineralization at depth.
