Tieto acquires T&T Telecom and strengthens position in the Russian Telecom market

Tieto has acquired T&T Telecom. Through the acquisition, Tieto continues its
growth strategy and strengthens its telecom competence in Russia.
T&T Telecom, located in St. Petersburg and Moscow, is an IT and consultancy
company specializing in services for telecom operators. The company's customer
base includes Megafon, Vimpelcom, Svyazinvest, Delta Telecom, Comstar, Sinterra
and Rostelecom.
"This acquisition supports our growth strategy in Russia. It strengthens our
local competencies and broadens our customer base especially in the telecom
industry. Tieto now serves its Russian customers with over 250 specialists. We
also achieve a good platform for further growth in the telecom and media market
