Held just outside Las Vegas in Jean, Nevada on March 24, 2012, the Galavantier.com and VORE Roughrider Truck competed in Pro Class 5500, where driver Travanon Ash maneuvered his way to a second place finish. Ash completed 93 one-mile laps in the desert during the nine-hour race in which more than 50% of the drivers do not finish.

VORE trucks have raced many races, mostly with amateur drivers, and in the Mint 400 continued a streak of finishing in first, second or third.
