Mechelen, 3 March 2010 - Just ahead of the European Cable Congress - taking
place in Brussels from 3rd to 5th March - Telenet has announced that it will be
increasing and accelerating its investments in its network in the next five
years. The Mechelen-based company has decided to modernise its entire network in
the next five years rather than over a 10-year period, and to invest 30 million
euro a year to do so. This decision means that Telenet is giving the
digitization of Flanders a substantial push and making Flanders a 'networked
economy".
