To Honor National Financial Literacy Month, Speedy Cash Will Run an Educational Campaign for Kids in Wichita, KS
(firmenpresse) - WICHITA, KS -- (Marketwire) -- 04/03/12 -- Beginning April 1, , in alliance with the (YEEP), will run a financial literacy program through April 28. Headed by superhero Mr. Cool Money, the campaign "promotes financial literacy and empowers young people to build wealth," said Lacey Frazier, Marketing Specialist at Speedy Cash.

Speedy Cash's 2012 Mr. Cool Money campaign "will challenge the Wichita and surrounding areas to save money for their own personal financial well-being," added Frazier. "He will be making appearances all over the city -- especially in Wichita area schools."
Some of Mr. Cool Money's tips include writing shopping lists before heading to the store and planning meals around grocery flyers. Other, more kid-friendly advice involves entertainment and healthy eating. The campaign flyer tells students to swap books, music and DVDs online rather than paying for brand new copies. Also, Mr. Cool Money suggests steering away from fast foods and microwave meals to save money and promote a healthy diet.
Students and parents living in areas other than Wichita can connect to the Mr. Cool Money program through Speedy Cash's Facebook page for financial tips and information.
