HMS Bergbau AG decides on capital increase for further growth
- Share capital to increase by EUR 370,000 to EUR 4,370,000
- Investment by ICHOR Coal N.V. further strengthened

Berlin, 04 April 2012: With the Supervisory Board's approval, the
Management Board of HMS Bergbau AG - an international coal supplier with
operating know-how of coal mining, transport and trade - has decided to
increase the Company's share capital excluding subscription rights.
Utilising the authorised capital in accordance with Section 4 (4) of the
Articles of Association, the Company's share capital will be increased by
EUR 370,000 from EUR 4,000,000.00 to a maximum of EUR 4,370,000 against
cash contributions. The Company intends to do so by issuing 370,000 new
common bearer shares (no-par shares) with a pro rata amount of the share
capital of EUR 1.00 per new share. Majority shareholder ICHOR Coal N.V. is
the applicant for the new shares.
The new shares have full dividend rights for the 2012 financial year at a
subscription price of EUR 8.10 per no-par share. The gross proceeds of EUR
3.0 million from the issue will serve to finance HMS Bergbau AG's future
growth.
