London, April 4th, 2012. The Board of Tangibal Group Plc (“Tangibal”), the Frankfurt quoted interactive and experiential media company, announces that at today's Annual General Meeting all proposed resolutions were duly passed.
At the meeting Jonathan Hall, Tangibal’s non-executive Chairman made the following statement:
“Tangibal continues to move forward with our strategy of funding and operating interactive media systems in the cinema and digital out of home sectors internationally”.
Since the beginning of the year Tangibal Media has continued to attract major international brands to advertise on its innovative Cinema media network including two campaigns for EA Games for their titles Grand Slam Tennis and Mass Effect 3. The Mass Effect 3 campaign was an interactive campaign where people had to vote for their favorite Science Fiction movie with a chance to win free tickets to the screening of the film. This two week campaign in February achieved over 9,000 votes and over 1,200 verified email entries and generated circa € 26,000.
In March we received campaign confirmation for our interactive digital screens (Hubs) from Microsoft who have booked the Cinema Foyer screens for two weeks to launch their new Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) alongside the film release of “The Hunger Games”. This is also an interactive campaign and will generate circa € 31,000.
The network in Norway continues to deliver positive revenue growth and in 2012 we already have campaigns confirmed for Pepsi, AXA (insurance) DNB Bank and UIP (the film distributor).
The summer outlook looks promising for all of Tangibal’s media formats in Cinemas including renewed interest in the company’s uPlay technology for on-cinema screen interactive adverts.
