The $1 side bet is available on Fortune Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride, Four Card Poker, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold' em. Players can also place an additional side bet on Four Card Poker, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold 'em to qualify for a bad beat payout. The small side bet resulted in two lucky progressive jackpot winners over the weekend, as well as a Two-Way Bad Beat jackpot.
On Saturday, March 31, Joseph from San Jose, Calif., made his monthly visit to Red Hawk Casino. A Two-Way Bad Beat is won if the player has a pair or better and loses to the dealer or the player beats the dealer's hand of a pair or better. Joseph had placed $4 on the Two-Way Bad Beat bet and he and the dealer both received a straight flush for a payout of $20,000, or 5,000 to one. Joseph and his wife are expecting a new baby and he plans to save for the baby's arrival.
Another lucky Rewards Club member was playing Fortune Pai Gow Poker on Sunday, April 1. She placed the small $1 side bet and won $7,201.
Then Tuesday, April 3, David from Newark, Calif., was visiting Red Hawk Casino on a tour with his local senior center. He sat down to play Let It Ride, placed the small $1 side bet and was dealt a straight flush for a $9,049 progressive jackpot payout. David says he plans to add to his savings.
As of Thursday, April 5, 2012 the shared progressive jackpot for Four Card Poker, Let It Ride and Ultimate Texas Hold 'em is $82,129, Three Card poker is $2,826, and the Fortune Pai Gow Poker progressive is $67,983.
