The CipherCloud Cloud Data Protection Solution Is the Industry's First and Only Solution Certified as Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 197 Compliant by NIST

CipherCloud's AES encryption algorithm implementation is now officially recognized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for meeting its highest standards for encryption.
Instituted as a federal government standard in 2002, AES is the security benchmark for the encryption of electronic data and a mandatory requirement for many federal and global agencies. AES is the first publicly accessible and open cipher approved by the National Security Agency (NSA) for top secret information.
