National Arthritis Awareness Program Launches Arthritis Broadcast Network: A New Multi-Media Platform for Arthritis News, Stories, Tools and More
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/10/12 -- Entering its third year, the , today launched the : North America's first multi-media platform dedicated to broadcasting arthritis news, information and stories shared by both experts in the disease and by people living with arthritis.
The NAAP co-leader and Executive Director of the (ARC), Dr. John Esdaile commented on the new network: "This is just the beginning for ABN and what we envision will be a new experience for our audience. There are extraordinary arthritis consumers and healthcare professionals doing some incredible things in the arthritis community. Our goal is to create an innovative way for our audience to connect with us in year three of the national arthritis awareness program and help shape ABN."
Guided by a panel of Canadian arthritis experts, ABN programming is focused on four key NAAP themes: living well with arthritis; saving lives and saving money by promoting arthritis prevention and treatment; arthritis and women; and using arthritis tools to aid early diagnosis and self-management/self-care. At launch, ABN will provide consumers and healthcare professionals with the tools to learn more about arthritis on five dedicated programs:
