Dyle Mobile TV is the consumer-facing brand launched by MCV to deliver live mobile television content from 15 major broadcast groups including Pearl LLC (Belo Corp., Cox Media Group, E.W. Scripps Co., Gannett Broadcasting, Hearst Television Inc., Media General Inc., Meredith Corp., Post-Newsweek Stations Inc. and Raycom Media) as well as Bahakel, Fox, ION Television, NBC, Telemundo and Univision. In addition, MCV's co-general manager Salil Dalvi will participate in the "Mobile Video and Mobile TV -- Beyond YouTube" NAB Super Session.

Dalvi serves as co-General Manager of Mobile Content Venture (MCV), a joint-venture comprised of 12 major broadcast groups including NBC, working to create the Dyle Mobile TV service. In this capacity, Dalvi leads the product development, network planning and distribution efforts for the service, which will enable member companies to provide live video content to mobile devices including local and national news, and sports and entertainment programming. He is also an executive committee member for the Open Mobile Video Coalition (OMVC), a voluntary association of television broadcasters whose mission is to accelerate the development of mobile digital television in the US.





During this panel, Dalvi will provide updates on the progress of the planned Dyle service, and will also address where mobile video and mobile broadcasting may be headed in the very near future.
