Brocade Demonstrates OpenFlow, in Support of SDN, at Open Networking Summit 2012

(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/16/12 --
Brocade is demonstrating two OpenFlow-enabled routers: the Brocade MLXe, a modular system supporting up to 256 10 GbE and 32 100 GbE wire-speed ports, and the Brocade CER, a fixed form-factor router.
The objective of the demonstration is to show that powerful network virtualization applications can be supported with appropriate OpenFlow-enabled routers. Brocade will demonstrate how a network virtualization solution capable of supporting multi-point logical networks with VLAN translation between customer sites can be realized. Network virtualization enables seamless control of network resources regardless of location. The demonstration uses an open source OpenFlow controller.
Those interested in seeing OpenFlow technology in action, first hand.
Monday, April 16 - Wednesday, April 18, 2012
The demonstration is open to all attendees from 12:00 p.m - 2p.m. PT
