Tintri Adds More Than 30 New Customers in Q1 While Doubling Size of Customer Deployments
(firmenpresse) - MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/17/12 -- Tintri, Inc., the leading producer of , today announced continued momentum for its Tintri VMstore product among both new and existing customers. The company added more than 30 customers in Q1 2012, continuing on its strong acceleration path from 2011 -- its first year on the market. Tintri now has over 70 customers worldwide from a diverse array of industry verticals, including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, legal, education, and technology. Many of Tintri's customers now use a single Tintri VMstore appliance to support more than 100 virtual machines (VMs). The average VM workload running on each VMstore appliance more than doubled in Q1 compared to 2011 -- and one of the largest current deployments is running more than 700 VMs on just one Tintri VMstore appliance.

Alliance Bank, a European bank;
GMO Cloud, a global cloud service provider;
Infocom, an IT solutions provider in Japan;
Kazakhstan Telecom;
Maples FS, a global financial services firm;
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, one of Asia's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers;
NYK Line, a global shipping company;
The Sixth Form College Colchester, a college in the UK;
Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, a law firm with 14 offices across the United States.
