The Wonderopolis app provides a fun and free way for families to take learning beyond the classroom by piquing children's curiosity around multiple disciplines
Users can search for wonders by categories ranging from weather patterns and health questions to animals and cultural traditions
Additionally, users can share interesting wonders with their friends and family via Facebook and Twitter

NCFL developed the Wonderopolis app -- which is now available as a free download for the iPhone and Android -- in response to the growth and success of Wonderopolis over the last year, and requests from families that were looking for a safe and easy way to access the rich content available on Wonderopolis anytime, anywhere, and anyplace.

The Wonderopolis mobile app and Wonderopolis program is supported by a three-year grant from the . and have teamed up for 11 years to create technology-driven resources, and NCFL provides content to Verizon's , which offers free, comprehensive lesson plans and learning resources for teachers and students.
