The system, installed at Randolph Air Force Base as part of the , will provide emergency communications support and protection to an additional 20,000 U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force personnel located at Ft. Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) and Randolph AFB -- all in the Greater San Antonio area.
