Wood Partners Announces Plans to Build Alta Heights Apartment Community in Houston's Vibrant Washington Corridor
Construction Begins in May for the 256-Unit Community Located Walking Distance From Burgeoning Shopping, Entertainment and Dining District
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 04/24/12 -- Wood Partners, L.L.C., the nation's most active multifamily developer, announced today it will build Alta Heights, a 256-unit apartment community at 145 Heights Blvd., in the city's dynamic Washington Corridor.

The four-story building, designed by Womack + Hampton, will consist of 256 units on 3.5 acres, and will include Efficiency, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units. Heights Avenue Builders, LLC, will begin construction in May 2012 with first units available in May 2013. Construction is expected to be completed by October 2013.
Amenities at Alta Heights include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, under-mount sinks, subway tile backsplashes, vinyl plank flooring in kitchen and living areas, washer/dryers in each unit and garden tubs and showers in select units. Approximately half of the units come with a technology package including an in-wall iPod docking station at the entry and speakers mounted in the living room.
Highlights of the community's common areas include a courtyard with pool, barbecue grills, an outdoor kitchen with TV, a second courtyard with water fountain and grill, a fitness center, leasing office and club room with kitchen and bar areas.
