("EnerCare") (TSX: ECI) today urged shareholders to reject the self-serving proposals of Octavian Advisors, LP by voting their BLUE proxies before the 10 a.m. April 26, 2012 deadline to vote proxies for the April 30, 2012 Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders.
"This is an extremely important vote for EnerCare and it is vital that all shareholders vote their BLUE proxies to reject Octavian's schemes," said Jim Pantelidis, Chair of the EnerCare Board of Directors.
