Stonesoft joins IBM's Security Intelligence Partner Program

Helsinki, Finland - 25 April, 2012 - Stonesoft today announced that it has been
certified by Q1 Labs, an IBM company and global provider of security
intelligence solutions, for its Security Intelligence Partner Program (SIPP).
The integration of Stonesoft solutions with IBM's QRadar Security Intelligence
Platform open protocols allows for more powerful correlation of security and
application layer event data, facilitating customer solution deployments.
The Security Intelligence Partner Program allows companies to integrate with
QRadar, providing a direct feed of event, asset/vulnerability, configuration
management and flow information, as well as the enablement of automated updates.
Collaborative testing as part of the SIPP certification process ensures
interoperability between Stonesoft's network security solutions and the QRadar
Security Intelligence Platform.
Stonesoft's product portfolio consists of the industry's first transformable
security engine as well as standalone next generation firewalls and intrusion
prevention systems and SSL VPN products, all centrally managed by Stonesoft
Management Center. The logs of all Stonesoft products can be forwarded to QRadar
in Log Event Enhanced Format (LEEF) format. In addition, the Stonesoft
Management Center can also receive logs from LEEF compatible devices, thereby
enhancing Stonesoft's third-party event management support.
