Khosla Ventures Leads Funding Round to Fuel Growth of Big Data Pioneer

Current investors IA Ventures and True Ventures also participated in the round. This represents the company's second round of funding, bringing total capital raised to date to $23 million. Metamarkets also announced that Vinod Khosla, one of the preeminent investors in disruptive technologies and founder of Khosla Ventures, will join Metamarkets as an advisor. Metamarkets is using the funding to expand sales and marketing efforts as well as to deepen development of the company's leading edge analytics platform.
