CEO Alonzo Pierce said, "This is very exciting for us, as we now have in place the necessary tools to build upon the foundation we started two years ago with Emperial Americas, Inc. We will have many significant announcements in the upcoming days and weeks about our future plans."
Pierce further commented, saying, "Emperial Americas is the exclusive importer and supplier for CIA Distiladora S.A., the producer of Tequila Distinguido and the distilleries portfolio worldwide, with the exception of Mexico. We have competed and placed in several spirit competitions, including the San Francisco World Spirit Competition in 2006 and 2012. Distinguido, meaning 'distinguished' in English, was selected as the first product because of its current brand equity.
