Constellation Software Inc. Acquires the Assets of Local Government Solutions
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/03/12 -- Constellation Software Inc. ("Constellation") (TSX: CSU) today announced that it has acquired the assets of the Local Government Solutions division of Lender Processing Services ("LPS").
The Local Government Solutions division provides software solutions specifically designed for county and local governments that address document and workflow management, court case management, county recording, and property appraisal and tax collections.
Constellation's Harris Computer Systems will assume the county recording as well as property appraisal and tax collections assets, while Volaris Group will assume the assets of the court case management business for its Justice market segment. Approximately 140 employees will be joining Constellation as a result of the acquisition.
