Zurich, May 7th 2012 - MOUNTAIN CLEANTECH AG - Mountain Cleantech AG,
Investment Advisor to Mountain Cleantech Fund II - a Venture Capital /
Private Equity Fund focusing on Sustainable and Green Technologies
('Cleantech') in the German-speaking and Nordic regions - has further
strengthened its investment team.
Dr Marc Dietrich and Patrik Söderlund have both joined the investment team
of Mountain Cleantech as Venture Partners.
Marc Dietrich has held senior management functions in international blue
chip companies for more than 16 years. He also spent 8 years as Global
Co-Head Corporate&Investment Banking / Automotive at BNP Paribas
Corporate and Investment Bank and other prime institutions. Previous
positions held by Marc include Corporate Controller and Finance Director at
ARBED ARCELOR Group (mining / steel), Finance Director and Vice President
MAGNA Group (automotive) and CFO Danzer Group (natural resources / timber).
Marc Dietrich was trained in business administration at Johannes Kepler
University Linz. He holds a PhD in business administration.
Patrik Söderlund has joined Mountain Cleantech as Venture Partner for the
Nordic region. He is based in Mountain Cleantech's newly established Sweden
Office at Ideon Science Park, Lund. Patrik has been active as a venture
capitalist, business developer and entrepreneur for almost 30 years. In the
course of his business career, Patrik was Managing Director at Metea AB,
Lumitec AB and Sigma Innovation AB, as well as Chairman of the Board at
Clinical Laserthermia Technology AB, Join Business&Technology AB, Phase
Holographic Imaging AB and others.
