San Diego Regional EDC Honors Ron Fowler With the 2012 Herb Klein Civic Leadership Award

The award will be presented at the 47th Annual Dinner on May 23, 2012 underwritten by Point Loma Nazarene University, featuring keynote by futurist Dr. James Canton and special guest Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The Herb Klein Civic Leadership Award is presented to business executives that demonstrate outstanding leadership in addressing regional challenges through collaboration with public, private and civic partners. 2012 Honoree Ron Fowler is a San Diego civic leader known for his philanthropy and support of higher education and sports. Fowler is Chairman and CEO of Liquid Investments, Inc., Chair of the USD Board of Trustees, Chair of the Executive Committee of the San Diego Ports Commission/Hall of Champions and contributes his time and resources to numerous civic and philanthropic organizations that benefit San Diego's youth.
