IAQA & IAQ Training Institute Announce Major Revisions to Indoor Environmentalist Training
(firmenpresse) - ROCKVILLE, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 05/08/12 -- The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and the IAQ Training Institute, LLC recently announced significant revisions to their Indoor Environmentalist training program. This course will now be taught in three levels (Awareness, Intermediate and Advanced) and incorporates the Essentials for Healthy Housing training materials from The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH).
According to Kevin Kennedy, Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, "I have always wanted to see the NCHH Essentials of Healthy Housing taken a step further and incorporated into a program that teaches about the indoor environmental health of all buildings. This course does just that."
With the new awareness, intermediate and advanced levels of training, everyone interested in indoor environments now has an appropriate level of training available. Contractors, consultants, facilities managers, health care professionals, insurance and legal professionals and others will benefit from having new options and an expanded curriculum. The Indoor Environmentalist is taught by leading industry professionals -- Dietrich Weyel ScD, CIH; Joseph Hughes, CIEC, CMC, IAQTI president; Kevin Kennedy MPH, CIEC, Children's Mercy Hospital, and guest instructors specializing in HVAC and microbiology.
