Gowest Gold Appoints New Board Member
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/09/12 -- The Board of Directors of Gowest Gold Ltd. ("Gowest" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: GWA)(OTCBB: GWSAF)(FRANKFURT: 1GW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Peter Quintiliani to the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Audit Committee, effective immediately.
Mr. Quintiliani is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President Corporate Development of a large private company and has over 35 years experience in corporate finance. Mr. Quintiliani is a Chartered Accountant.
"We are very pleased with the addition of Mr. Quintiliani to the Board as he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, which will provide the Company with valuable guidance as we move the Frankfield project forward," said Mr. Fraser Elliott, Executive Chairman of Gowest.
The Company has granted Mr. Quintiliani options to purchase up to 400,000 common shares of the Company at an exercise price of $0.19 per share, expiring on May 9, 2017.
