Affigent Wins $3 Billion IDIQ Contract
(firmenpresse) - HERNDON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/10/12 -- Affigent, LLC has received a prime contract award for DHS TacCom, a multi-agency, multiple-awardee Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Under its contract, Affigent will provide tactical communications equipment, infrastructure, and related services to the Department of Homeland Security and its partner agencies, including the White House Communications Agency, Department of Interior, Department of State, and Department of Justice.
Each IDIQ provides for a 5-year term (2-year base period and three 1-year option periods). The total potential value for all prime contracts is $3 billion. The Department of Homeland Security seeks to establish a multi-vendor approach to implementing fully interoperable solutions to support mission critical, public safety communications.
