Winners of the 2012 Bulldog Awards for Excellence in Media and Publicity Campaigns Have Been Announced

(firmenpresse) - OAKLAND, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/10/12 -- More than 100 winners of the 2012 Bulldog Awards for Excellence in Media and Publicity Campaigns were announced Monday by Bulldog Reporter. Winners enter a pantheon of exemplary communications practitioners, and their campaigns will be summarized in the Bulldog Media Relations Awards Hall of Fame magazine, which is to be published on May 31, 2012.
Winners were chosen exclusively by working journalists from hundreds of entries representing the very best strategic and tactical prowess that PR/corporate communications has to offer. Campaigns were judged by a team of working journalists, who assessed them on the basis of their ability to achieve extraordinary visibility and influence opinion, as well as on their creativity, command of media and technology, and tenacity.
This year's was awarded to Hanna Lee Communications for Campari's "Year of the Negroni" campaign, which highlighted and rejuvenated a classic cocktail using the client's aperitif.
Judges awarded this campaign two Gold Awards -- for Best Online Newsroom - Business/Consumer, and PR Innovation of the Year -- plus a Silver Award for Best Use of Personality/Celebrity. "This campaign won three Bulldog Media Relations Awards -- an extraordinary achievement by any measure. But it's no surprise when you consider the strategic brilliance and the superb tactical implementation the agency demonstrated on behalf of Campari," observed Bulldog Reporter publisher James Sinkinson.
