Calgary Food Bank: They Will Build It... and You Should Come!

Come watch students take "playing with their food" to the next level at the 4th Annual Can Creation Build in support of the .

When: Wednesday, May 16, 2012; 9:00 am to 12 noon

Where: Western Canada High School (641 - 17 Avenue SE)

Last week, Western Canada High School student teams were busy fundraising on behalf of the . The 5 teams who raised the most money have earned a spot in the Can Creation Build during the school's .

Each team will be supplied with the same amount and type of food - all of which are items found on the 's wish list. The teams begin building at 9:00am until the whistle blows at noon.

A guest panel of judges from the , Husky Energy and Western Canada High School Steering Committee Alumni will pronounce the winning team shortly thereafter.

As a partner in (June 4-10, 2012) this event really sets the tone for the whole campaign.
