Communication specialists help FC St. Pauli approach partners / Presentation of the cult Hamburg football club at ITB in Berlin
(firmenpresse) - February 2009 – Hamburg football club FC St. Pauli, a club with cult status and a fan community that goes way beyond Germany, can now rely on the support of Laurich & Kollegen to reach out to potential partners in the tourism, airline and travel destination fields. Experienced PR consultants in the tourism business, Laurich & Kollegen are bringing together decision-makers from sport and tourism and organising a range of PR activities to present the club at this year’s ITB travel trade show from 11-15 March in Berlin.
“We are delighted to be able to help FC St. Pauli in their search for partners from the tourism sector,” says Dr Frank Laurich, who has already worked with the club on projects in the past. “Successful cooperation with the low-cost carrier Germanwings really sparked the footballers’ enthusiasm for tourism. Training camps in Cuba and recently in Cyprus, too, have shown what excellent opportunities there are for working together with service providers in the tourism sector.” Laurich & Kollegen’s work between now and the ITB is focusing on targeted approaches to those responsible for marketing and sponsoring in tourism companies as well as PR for FC St. Pauli’s presence at the travel trade show.
