Fidenta concludes personnel negotiations

At the beginning of March, Fidenta Oy announced that it will start personnel
negotiations concerning the whole personnel of the company. The negotiations
have now been concluded. The company will make a maximum of 110 employees
redundant. The company will start to implement redundancies in August 2012 at
the earliest and they will be completed by April 2013. Fidenta anticipates that
redundancies will mainly be implemented towards the end of the implementation
period. In March, the company estimated that the arrangement might lead to a
reduction of maximum 150 positions during the second half of 2012 and the first
half of 2013.
Fidenta Oy is a joint venture owned by Tieto (80%) and Nordea (20%), which was
established in 1995. The company provides IT system development, management,
integration and consultancy services to Nordea. The company operates in
Helsinki, and has approximately 200 employees. In March, Nordea announced that
its group level efficiency plans will also concern Fidenta.
