Zayo Expands Phoenix Network
Adds 123 Sites to Phoenix Fiber to the Tower Network
(firmenpresse) - LOUISVILLE, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/17/12 -- Zayo Group today announces it is expanding its fiber footprint in Phoenix, AZ. The expansion will increase the Phoenix network by 165 route miles, a 60% increase over the existing network and 123 new towers. The build will provide presence to the Phoenix Suburbs Peoria, El Mirage, Fountain Hills and Sun City.
With the expansion in Phoenix, along with other markets, Zayo's tower footprint has over 900 towers under construction; currently the on-net tower footprint is 2,427 while offering more than 100G in overall bandwidth to its tenants. Though Zayo's expansion was for a specific wireless customer, other customer verticals in the greater Phoenix metro area can benefit from scalable Bandwidth Infrastructure solutions enabled by this build.
