Huakan International Mining Inc. Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

(TSX VENTURE: HK) (the "Company") has appointed Ms. Fiona Leung as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Yuandong (Jeffrey) Ren. The board of directors would like to extend their appreciation to Mr. Ren for his services to the Company over the past two years.
Ms. Leung, CA, CFP, CPA (Delaware) brings to the Company her experience with Canadian companies with international operations. She was previously Director of Finance for InterWrap Inc., Corporate Controller for GLG Life Tech Corporation, Corporate Development Associate with Mundoro Capital Inc., and a Senior Accountant with Ernst & Young LLP.
