Biogas Nord AG publishes its Annual Report for 2011

Bielefeld, 22nd May 2012. The leading provider of biogas technology, Biogas
Nord AG, published its Annual Report for 2011 today.
The Biogas Nord Group achieved a 46,2% increase in sales revenues for the
financial year 2011 to EUR 76,030,000 (previous year: EUR 54,063,000). The
EBITDA rose by 76.9% or EUR 1.592.000 to EUR 3,661,000 (previous year: EUR
2,069,000). The EBIT rose during the same period by EUR 1,584,000, from EUR
1,469,000 to EUR 3,053,000. The consolidated net profit after minorities
for the period between 1st January and 31st December 2011 was EUR
1,831,000. With these results the Company improved on the previous year's
profit of EUR 957,000 by 91.3% or EUR 874,000. The cash flow from ongoing
operations at the end of the financial year 2011 amounted to EUR 2,723,000,
compared to EUR 223,000 during the previous year. With a balance sheet of
EUR 35,811,000, the equity ratio on 31st December 2011 stood at a solid
17.4%. On the reporting date of 31st December 2011, Biogas Nord AG had
liquid assets of EUR 3,682,000, compared to EUR 2,992,000 EUR on 31st
December 2010.
