JAXX subsidiary receives gaming licence in Spain
Kiel/Madrid, June 1, 2012 - DIGIDIS SA, Madrid, which is part of the JAXX
SE Group (Deutsche Börse, Prime Standard, ISIN DE000A0JRU67), has today
been granted one of the first online gaming licences in Spain. Its gaming
range at www.NetBet.es is expected to go online in the course of June. The
product range, including poker, roulette, blackjack, bingo and other casino
games, covers all the Spaniards' favourite choices.
The NetBet.es range is aimed at a rapidly growing circle of Internet users
who are increasingly seeking out Lady Luck online, too. For marketing its
products, NetBet.es can call on a customer base of over 500,000 users who
are registered for the JAXX Group's Spanish products.
The Spanish gaming market is one of the biggest in Europe. Every year,
Spaniards spend some EUR 30 billion on lotteries, casino games and betting.
Yet the online sector is still in its infancy and offers enormous potential
for growth. According to the industry association 'JDigital', Internet
gaming generated revenue of around EUR 370 million in 2011, with the total
set to reach at least EUR 840 million by 2014.
