EMPELOR Signs Partner Contract with GeNUA
Zug, 3.06.2012 - The Swiss-based IT-Enterprise EMPELOR GmbH, which specializes in secure mobile data and voice communication technologies, has signed a partner agreement with the German IT-security specialist GeNUA mbH, in order to complement its product portfolio. The cooperation concerns Switzerland and Greece.
EMPELOR Signs Partner Contract with GeNUA(firmenpresse) - The major part of a public authority"s or an enterprise"s data is usually only for internal use, and therefore appropriate security measures have to be taken. This first classification is known as "Restricted". Further classifications are "Confidential", "Secret", and "Top Secret". Classified data may only be processed by systems with a classification-specific admission level.
In order to avoid the increasing danger when processing sensitive data and information, EMPELOR develops for its customers technical and organizational solutions, in order to guarantee secure communication. In this context, it is most important to use only systems and components, which can be securely used for encryption during data storage and transmission. The provider of these products must be trustworthy, and must also comply with the relevant technical and legal requirements.
GeNUA, EMPELOR"s new partner, responds with its product portfolio to the most important market requirements regarding mobile security and flexibility. GeNUA offers firewalls for network security, VPN-Gateways (Virtual Private Network) for encrypted data transmission via the Internet, as well as remote machinery maintenance systems. The high quality of the solutions is reflected by the certificates according to Common Criteria (CC) and by the admissions for the security classifications (VS-NfD, NATO Restricted, Restreint UE) granted by the "Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik" (BSI). Numerous security-aware enterprises and public authorities are already using these products for securing their IT. Customers in Germany include the MAN Group, MTU Aero Engines, the Würth-Group, the Deutsche Bundestag, the Bundeswehr and the Statistische Bundesamt.
