Oak Street Promotes Two Executives in Key Leadership Areas

Kathy Yeary has been promoted to executive director of customer service and human resources. Yeary, who oversees human resources, compliance, customer relationships and loan servicing, has been instrumental in building Oak Street Funding's service platform, including servicing for third parties, since joining the company in 2005.

Yeary has more than 20 years of insurance and financial industry experience that includes stints in asset management, insurance marketing, finance and human relations administration.
Carissa Newton has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. As director of marketing, she has helped Oak Street Funding grow its loans to insurance agents by more than 36 percent in 2011. This year, the company is on pace to increase loans by more than 300 percent.
